Hello and welcome to my corner of the world.
I am Kicki and I live in Sweden in a small village. Our village is located in the middle parts of the country. Our closest town is called Ostersund and there they say we are housing our very own seamonster "The Great Lake Monster". So if you are interested in monsters please visit this site. It is in English.
I am also a Breast-Cancer Survivor. I got cancer this spring. I was on a mammography in the beginning of February and in the beginning of March I got the diagnosis. I have done a page here about my journey with cancer.
I am studying at the Mid University in Ostersund, I am a student nurse. The plan was to be a finished trainednurse in january 2012 but with the cancer coming I decided to take a short pause from my studies and continue in january 2010 so I will be a trained nurse in january 2013 instead.
I have 5 children, 3 girls and 2 boys and also 3 grand-children, 1 girl and 2 boys.
I live with my husband who had a stroke in november 2000. He is pretty much ok today but he can't work full time anymore so he has disablement pension for half time and is allowed to work the other half. Currently he is in a program via our employment office. He is at the slalom slope about 1 mile from our home doing some work. He and another guy are painting and fixing different damages in the cottage where they rent out equipment for skiiers.
My husband has 2 kids, 1 boy and 1 girl.
Our home has some pets too. We have a dog, a Saint Bernard called Spader who is 1 1/2 years old (born in March 2008). We have 6 cats at the moment, recently one of our cats passed away. We have 2 horses, one former trotter and one Shetland Pony. We have a golden hamster and a miniature hamster. We have a spider (a Tarantula) and a water turtle and also a few fishes in a aquarium.
